DRZ400 Oil Temperature Sensor Install

The DRZ400 doesn't have an oil temperature sensor, nor does the engine lend itself to screw in oil sensors in the casings out of harm's way. To solve this, a very easy solution is to use a contact-based temperature sensor as close to the oil return pipe outlet as possible.

There are a few options on the market but the Trail Tech products are certainly my favourite. For this application the 10mm radiator fin temperature sensor teamed up with a TTO surface mount sensor display works perfectly. Click here to buy the Trail Tech TTO Temperature Gauge with 10mm Fin Sensor
